Tris solutions are high-purity buffering reagents used to maintain stable pH in molecular biology, protein chemistry, electrophoresis, immunoassay, analytical, and bioprocessing workflows.
Tris base is the unprotonated, free-base compound, while Tris-HCl is the pH-adjusted, acidified form. We sell both Tris Base and Tris-HCl solutions, as well as Tris-based buffer formulations, which typically combine Tris-HCl (at a specific pH) with other components, such as salts or chaotropic reagents, to achieve specific chemical conditions necessary for molecular biology, biochemical, or bioprocessing applications.
All Tris solutions are prepared using high-purity raw materials under controlled conditions. Standard assays for RUO buffers and reagents include pH, conductivity, osmolality, density, and top spread sterility. To meet the requirements for your finished good specifications, we can also perform custom assays, including endotoxin, DNase, RNase, protease, PCR, microbial enumeration, and compendial sterility testing.
