PluriFreeze™ Base is a DMSO-free wash and hold solution, developed by Pluristyx as part of the PluriFreeze cryopreservation system. Its hyperosmotic, intracellular-like formulation provides osmotic and metabolic support for stem cells such as iPSCs and MSCs, immune cells such as NK and CAR-T cells, continuous cell lines, and other cell therapy materials, as well as cord blood, apheresis, and leukopak products. Use it to hold cells for up to 72 hours at 2–8°C, wash away culture media and processing solutions before the freeze, dilute PluriFreeze PF10 to a lower DMSO concentration, and wash and concentrate cells after thaw.
