TB liquid media is most commonly used to culture E. coli and other non-fastidious bacterial strains employed in genetic engineering and molecular cloning workflows. Compared to standard LB broth, bacteria grown in TB liquid media often produce significantly higher cell densities and biomass, supporting improved downstream yields in biopharmaceutical and biotechnology applications.
