15 mg/mL Tetracycline in 50% Ethanol Solution is an antibiotic stock used to prepare tetracycline-supplemented media and to maintain plasmid-encoded tetracycline resistance in laboratory strains such as E. coli.

Typical use includes adding the stock to cooled media or cultures to achieve 10–20 µg/mL tetracycline final concentration; protect from light during handling and storage.
