1M Tris-HCl, pH 9.0 Solution is a concentrated buffering solution prepared from Tris base adjusted with hydrochloric acid to a final pH of 9.0 (measured at 25 °C). Tris-HCl buffers maintain a stable pH in alkaline ranges and are widely used in biochemical and molecular biology workflows.

This solution serves as a stock for preparing working-strength buffers by dilution with water or compatible salts. Common applications include electrophoresis running and sample buffers, protein purification steps requiring controlled pH, nucleic acid extraction and handling, and general laboratory sample preparation where pH 9.0 buffering capacity is required.
