Sodium citrate buffer at pH 6.4 designed for laboratory workflows that require controlled buffering capacity and low ionic strength. The pH facilitates applications that benefit from mildly acidic conditions relative to neutral buffers.

RNase tested to support use in RNA-sensitive procedures, including RNA extraction steps, dilution of RNase-free reagents, and handling of RNA standards. Endotoxin tested for experiments in which endotoxin levels are monitored or controlled, such as immunological assays and cell-based studies.

Functions as a citrate-based chelating buffer that can modulate the availability of divalent cations in enzymatic and biochemical assays. Suitable for sample dilution, reagent preparation, and method development where a defined pH 6.4 environment is required.
