Acetate and Sucrose Buffer, pH 5.5 is a ready-to-use acetate buffer with 9% sucrose in purified water, adjusted to pH 5.5. The 45 mL tubes, 25 per pack, suit small-volume screening.

It is commonly used for small-volume formulation screening of proteins and biologics, where acetate buffers the mildly acidic range and sucrose protects against freeze–thaw stress. It also supports small-scale lyophilization studies.
