1M Sodium Acetate, pH 5.5 is a sodium acetate stock in purified water, adjusted to pH 5.5. The 1 L fill supports laboratory and pilot-scale buffer preparation.

It is commonly used to prepare acetate buffers for cation-exchange chromatography, protein crystallization, and formulation development. Dilute 50 mL to 1 L for 50 mM acetate and verify pH.
