1 M Sodium Phosphate Buffer, pH 7.0, is a concentrated phosphate buffering solution used to establish neutral pH conditions for sample dilution, reagent preparation, and routine laboratory procedures requiring phosphate buffering capacity across molecular biology, microbiology, and biochemistry workflows.

Typical applications include pH stabilization in enzyme assays, nucleic acid and protein purification, chromatography equilibration and wash steps, and washing or resuspension of bacterial pellets such as E. coli. The 1 M stock is intended for dilution to working concentrations with sterile water or saline and may be sterilized by filtration or autoclaving according to protocol requirements.
