PBS with 1% BSA and 0.05% Polysorbate 20 is a ready-to-use phosphate-buffered saline with 1% bovine serum albumin and 0.05% polysorbate 20 (Tween-20). The 1 L fill supports laboratory and pilot-scale use.

It is commonly used to block coated plates and dilute samples and antibodies in ELISAs and other immunoassays. The surfactant further lowers nonspecific binding.

  • 1.00% Bovine Serum Albumin
  • ELISA Blocking and Dilution: BSA-containing buffer for blocking coated plates and diluting samples and antibodies in HCP, residual Protein A, and binding ELISAs.
  • Western Blotting: Protein-containing buffer for blocking membranes and diluting antibodies in western blotting.
  • Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence: Protein-containing buffer for blocking and antibody dilution in IHC, ICC, and IF.
  • Flow Cytometry: Protein-containing buffer for antibody staining and washing of cells for flow cytometry.

  • ELISA Plate Blocking: Ready-to-use blocking buffer for occupying unbound sites on coated plates to lower background.
  • Protein and Enzyme Stabilization: BSA-containing buffer that stabilizes dilute proteins and antibodies during handling and storage.
