Nematode Growth Agar Plates with Carbenicillin-50 and 1 mM IPTG are intended for preparing bacterial lawns used in Caenorhabditis elegans maintenance and assays.

Carbenicillin at 50 µg/mL supports selection and maintenance of carbenicillin-resistant E. coli strains carrying beta-lactam–selectable plasmids, and 1 mM IPTG enables induction of lac promoter–regulated gene expression during lawn formation.
