50mM MES with 1M Sodium Chloride, pH 6.0 is a ready-to-use high-salt MES buffer in purified water, adjusted to pH 6.0. The 1 L fill supports laboratory and pilot-scale use.

It is commonly used as the high-salt eluent in cation-exchange chromatography gradients, including HPLC methods that resolve protein charge variants. Pair it with a matching low-salt MES buffer, and filter and degas before use.
