LB Broth with Animal-Free Soytone and Carbenicillin-50 is a nutrient medium for cultivation and selection of carbenicillin-resistant E. coli strains. Animal-free soytone supplies peptides and amino acids, yeast extract provides vitamins and growth factors, and sodium chloride maintains osmotic balance.

Carbenicillin disodium salt at 50 µg/mL enables selection of plasmid-bearing transformants in liquid culture.
