1 M Glycine Solution, pH 3.0, Endotoxin Tested is an aqueous glycine buffer adjusted to an acidic pH for use in workflows that require low-pH conditions. The solution provides a defined concentration and pH suitable for procedures such as elution steps in affinity chromatography and pH-dependent processing of biomolecules.

Each lot is tested for endotoxin. This product is intended for laboratory use; users should verify compatibility with specific assays and downstream applications and, when required, promptly neutralize samples after low-pH exposure.

  • 1M Glycine Solution
  • Antibody Elution (Protein A/G): Acidic elution of bound antibodies from Protein A/G resins using 1M Glycine Solution at pH 3.0.

  • Acid Stripping in Immunoassays: Removal of surface-bound antibodies from cells or tissues for re-probing in flow cytometry or immunofluorescence.

  • Viral Inactivation (Low-pH Hold): Low-pH buffering for bioprocessing steps requiring controlled viral inactivation under sterile, endotoxin-tested conditions.

  • Chromatography Column Regeneration: Low-pH cleaning/regeneration of affinity and ion-exchange columns.

  • Protein/Peptide Elution (Cation Exchange): Elution of basic proteins or peptides from cation exchange media by decreasing pH with 1M Glycine Solution.

  • Fixative Quenching: Quenching residual aldehyde fixatives (e.g., paraformaldehyde/glutaraldehyde) in immunostaining workflows.

  • pH Adjustment and Titration: Rapid acidification and pH control of buffers and samples requiring a defined pH 3.0 environment.

  • Sample Conditioning for Protein Analysis: Stabilizing proteins in acidic conditions to minimize proteolysis prior to downstream analysis.
