1M Acetic Acid is an acetic acid solution in purified water. The 1 L fill supports laboratory and pilot-scale use.

It is commonly used to lower and adjust pH in bioprocess work, including low-pH viral inactivation holds after affinity capture, and to prepare acetate buffers for cation-exchange chromatography. Add slowly with mixing to avoid local low-pH zones.
