25% Ammonium Sulfate is an ammonium sulfate stock in purified water. The 500 mL fill suits analytical and bench-scale preparative work.

It is commonly used to set high-salt starting conditions for hydrophobic interaction chromatography and for salting-out precipitation of proteins. For HIC, dilute into buffer and run a decreasing salt gradient.

  • 25% Ammonium Sulfate
  • HIC Mobile Phase: Ammonium sulfate for high-salt HIC mobile phases, including resolution of ADC species by drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR).
  • Protein Precipitation and Fractionation: Salt for precipitating, fractionating, and concentrating proteins by salting out.
  • Protein Crystallization: Ammonium sulfate precipitant for protein crystallization screens.
  • Sample Handling and Storage: Ammonium sulfate for storing enzymes as stable precipitates.
