20% Ethanol is a ready-to-use solution of ethanol in purified water. The 20 L bag supports storage of process-scale columns and equipment.

It is commonly used to store chromatography resins between runs, inhibiting microbial growth in the packed bed, and to keep membranes and fluid paths wet between uses. Flush with buffer before reuse to remove the ethanol.
