TBS Assay Diluent is a ready-to-use Tris-buffered saline with 1% BSA and 0.05% polysorbate 20 (Tween-20). The 1 L fill supports laboratory and pilot-scale use.

It is commonly used to dilute samples, standards, and detection antibodies in ELISAs and other immunoassays, including host cell protein (HCP) and residual Protein A assays for biologics. BSA and surfactant reduce nonspecific binding and matrix effects.

  • 10mM Tris-HCl
  • 0.90% Sodium Chloride
  • 0.05% (v/v) Tween-20
  • 1.00% Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA)
  • ELISA Diluent: Diluent for samples, standards, and detection antibodies in HCP, residual Protein A, and binding ELISAs.
  • Western Blotting: Protein-containing buffer for blocking membranes and diluting antibodies in western blotting.
  • ELISA Plate Blocking: Ready-to-use blocking buffer for occupying unbound sites on coated plates to lower background.
  • Lateral Flow Assays: Running and sample buffer for lateral flow and rapid immunoassays.
  • Bead-Based and Multiplex Immunoassays: Buffer for dilution, blocking, and washing in bead-based and multiplex immunoassays.
  • Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence: Protein-containing buffer for blocking and antibody dilution in IHC, ICC, and IF.
  • Immunoassay Standards and Calibrators: Diluent for preparing immunoassay standards, calibrators, and controls.
  • Protein and Enzyme Stabilization: BSA-containing buffer that stabilizes dilute proteins and antibodies during handling and storage.
