HEPES Assay Diluent, pH 7.5 is a ready-to-use HEPES-buffered saline with 1% BSA and 0.05% polysorbate 20 (Tween-20), adjusted to pH 7.5. The 1 L fill supports laboratory and pilot-scale use.

It is commonly used to dilute samples, standards, and detection antibodies in ELISAs and other immunoassays where a phosphate-free diluent is preferred. BSA and surfactant reduce nonspecific binding and matrix effects.

  • 0.59% HEPES Free Acid
  • 0.65% HEPES Sodium Salt
  • 0.90% Sodium Chloride
  • 0.05% Tween-20
  • 1.00% Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA)
  • ELISA Diluent: Diluent for samples, standards, and detection antibodies in HCP, residual Protein A, and binding ELISAs.
  • ELISA Plate Blocking: Ready-to-use blocking buffer for occupying unbound sites on coated plates to lower background.
  • ELISA Plate Washing: Protein-containing buffer for low-background wash steps in ELISAs.
  • Lateral Flow Assays: Running and sample buffer for lateral flow and rapid immunoassays.
  • Flow Cytometry: Protein-containing buffer for antibody staining and washing of cells for flow cytometry.
  • Bead-Based and Multiplex Immunoassays: Buffer for dilution, blocking, and washing in bead-based and multiplex immunoassays.
  • Cell-Based Assays: Buffer for reagent preparation and washing steps in cell-based assays such as ELISpot.
  • Immunoassay Standards and Calibrators: Diluent for preparing immunoassay standards, calibrators, and controls.
