0.5M Sodium Hydroxide is a ready-to-use sodium hydroxide solution. The 20 L bag supports pilot- and process-scale column cleaning.

It is commonly used to clean and sanitize chromatography columns, filtration systems, and process equipment, removing precipitated protein and reducing bioburden and endotoxin. Confirm the alkaline stability of your resin or membrane before use.

  • This is a GMP-grade product that is manufactured in compliance with our Quality Management System in ISO 13485 certified facilities.
  • 500mM Sodium Hydroxide
  • Column Cleaning and Sanitization: Cleaning and sanitizing solution for Protein A and polishing columns between purification runs.
  • pH Adjustment and Titration: Base for raising and titrating the pH of buffers, media, and samples.
  • Clean-in-Place and System Sanitization: Sanitizing solution for clean-in-place treatment of process equipment, membranes, tubing, and single-use assemblies.
  • Endotoxin Reduction and Depyrogenation: Alkaline solution for inactivating and removing endotoxin from equipment and surfaces.
  • Neutralization and Waste Treatment: Alkaline solution for neutralizing and decontaminating process waste.
  • Buffer and Reagent Preparation: Sodium hydroxide for preparing alkaline reagents and adjusting buffer pH.
