20mM Sodium Citrate with 8% Sucrose, pH 6.0 is a ready-to-use citrate–sucrose buffer in purified water, adjusted to pH 6.0. Sucrose is a non-ionic stabilizer that protects proteins against freezing and drying stress. The 500 mL fill suits bench-scale development work.

It is commonly used as a holding, diafiltration, and formulation buffer for proteins and biologics, including monoclonal antibodies and ADCs, and as a matrix for lyophilization studies. Add surfactant as needed.

  • 20mM Sodium Citrate
  • 8% Sucrose
  • Antibody and ADC Formulation Development: Defined buffer for diafiltration, holding, and formulation development of monoclonal antibodies and ADCs.
  • Viral Vector and Vaccine Formulation Development: Buffer for formulation development and stability work on viral vectors and vaccines.
  • Protein and Enzyme Stabilization: Buffer–sucrose matrix that stabilizes proteins during handling, storage, and freeze–thaw.
  • Protein Purification and Chromatography: Buffer–sucrose matrix for holding purified proteins.
  • Enzyme Quenching and Metal Chelation: Citrate–sucrose buffer that chelates trace metals in protein solutions.
  • ELISA and Immunoassays: Citrate–sucrose buffer for diluting analytes in immunoassays.
  • Lyophilization and Reconstitution: Buffer–sucrose matrix for lyophilization studies and reconstitution of freeze-dried proteins.
