1 x  21113: DNase I (RNase-Free), ≥2000 U/mL, 0.6 mL

AAV•Tek DNase I Treatment Kit provides RNase-free DNase I and a 10X reaction buffer for enzymatic degradation of residual DNA in viral vector preparations and related workflows. DNase I hydrolyzes single- and double-stranded DNA into oligonucleotides in the presence of divalent cations supplied by the reaction buffer.

The kit is intended for use during sample cleanup steps where removal of contaminating DNA is required prior to nuclease inactivation, buffer exchange, or downstream purification and analysis.

  • Each DNase I Treatment product contains enough material for 100 reactions.

  • AAV Crude Lysate Cleanup: Digests unpackaged host and plasmid DNA in crude AAV preparations to improve downstream purification performance.

  • Harvest/Supernatant Treatment: Reduces residual DNA in clarified AAV harvests prior to filtration, TFF, or chromatography.

  • Accurate AAV Genome Titration: Removes extra-capsid DNA before qPCR/ddPCR to prevent overestimation of vector genomes.

  • Viscosity Reduction: Lowers viscosity in cell lysates (e.g., from E. coli or producer cells), improving centrifugation and filtration.

  • RNA Workflows: RNase-free DNase treatment to remove genomic DNA contamination prior to RT-qPCR or RNA-seq library preparation.

  • Protein and Capsid Assays: Minimizes DNA-related background in ELISA and other capsid-based analytics.

  • Chromatography Optimization: Decreases DNA fouling to enhance column binding, resolution, and cleaning efficiency.

  • NGS/Library Prep Cleanup: Eliminates contaminating DNA to improve library quality and mapping accuracy.
