AAV•Tek AEX Buffer: AAV2 - Elution Buffer 2B is a ready-to-use elution buffer for anion-exchange chromatography of adeno-associated virus serotype 2 (AAV2). It is used to elute AAV2 capsids from AEX media under controlled conditions during purification.

Intended for downstream processing steps, including capture and intermediate/polishing AEX operations in research or manufacturing workflows requiring AAV2 elution under defined process parameters.

  • AAV2 Anion Exchange Chromatography: Used as the elution buffer in AEX steps to recover AAV2 capsids during downstream purification.

  • Empty/Full Capsid Enrichment: Applied in step or gradient elution to help separate genome-containing AAV2 particles from empty capsids.

  • Polishing of Purified AAV2: Utilized during late-stage purification to reduce process impurities and improve product quality.

  • Process Development and Scale-Up: Employed for method optimization and transfer of AEX elution conditions across scales.

  • Preparation for TFF/Buffer Exchange: Provides consistent elution conditions prior to tangential flow filtration and formulation steps.

  • Analytical Sample Preparation: Produces eluates suitable for downstream assays such as qPCR/ddPCR titer, capsid ELISA, AUC, and HPLC/UPLC.

  • Compatibility with Common AEX Resins: Designed for use with widely used anion exchange media in AAV2 purification workflows.

  • pH: 9.50 ± 0.10
  • Endotoxin: ≤0.5EU/mL
