10% Tween-20 Solution is an aqueous, nonionic surfactant preparation containing polysorbate 20 at 10% for laboratory applications requiring controlled detergent conditions. GMP manufactured.

  • This is a GMP-grade product that is manufactured in compliance with our Quality Management System in ISO 13485 certified facilities.
  • 10% Tween-20

  • Western Blotting: Component of TBST wash buffers to reduce nonspecific antibody binding and background.

  • ELISA and Immunoassays: Added to PBST/TBST for plate washing and blocking to minimize nonspecific interactions.

  • Immunofluorescence/IHC: Used in wash/permeabilization buffers to improve antibody specificity and signal-to-noise.

  • Protein Sample Preparation: Gentle non-ionic detergent for membrane protein solubilization and stabilization without harsh denaturation.

  • Enzyme and Binding Assays: Reduces surface adsorption of proteins/enzymes, improving reproducibility and kinetic accuracy.

  • PCR/qPCR Workflows: Low-level additive to mitigate template/enzyme adsorption to plastics and enhance amplification consistency.

  • Flow Cytometry: Included in wash buffers to limit cell clumping and decrease nonspecific antibody binding.

  • Hybridization Blots (Southern/Northern): Used in wash buffers to lower background during probe detection.

  • General Wash Buffers (PBST/TBST): Convenient sterile 10% stock for rapid preparation of working-strength lab buffers.

  • Surface Blocking: Added to buffers to block nonspecific adsorption on plastic and glass assay surfaces.
