Reagent Grade Water, Non-Sterile is purified water intended for laboratory procedures that require controlled levels of ionic, organic, and particulate contaminants consistent with reagent-grade specifications. This product is non-sterile and not intended for parenteral use.

Typical uses include preparation of buffers, reagents, and culture media; dilution of standards and samples; preparation of blanks and controls; and rinsing laboratory glassware and instruments. Sterilization or sterile filtration is required prior to aseptic workflows or microbial culture applications.

Store in a tightly closed container at room temperature. Use clean handling techniques to minimize contamination during dispensing and use.

  • Reagent Grade Water
  • Buffer and Reagent Preparation: Used to dissolve salts and chemicals for preparing laboratory buffers, stock solutions, and reagents.

  • Agarose and Polyacrylamide Gels: Utilized for casting gels and diluting electrophoresis buffers for DNA, RNA, and protein separation.

  • PCR/qPCR Reagent Dilution: Employed to dilute primers, dNTPs, and enzymes, or to prepare master mixes following appropriate sterilization/filtration as required.

  • ELISA and Immunoassays: Used to prepare wash buffers, blocking solutions, and sample dilutions.

  • Cell Culture Solution Prep: Applied in making salt solutions and media components prior to sterilization (not for direct aseptic use).

  • Spectrophotometry and Standards: Serves as a diluent for standards and samples and as a blank for baseline measurements.

  • Western Blot and Transfer Buffers: Used to prepare transfer buffers and antibody incubation solutions.

  • General Lab Rinsing and Cleaning: Suitable for rinsing glassware and instruments to minimize ionic and organic contaminants.
