10X TBST, pH 7.6, Non-Sterile is a concentrated Tris-buffered saline with Tween-20 for preparation of a 1X wash buffer.

Dilute 1:10 with deionized water to obtain 1X TBST at pH 7.6 for routine washing and dilution steps in immunoblotting, ELISA, and other antibody-based workflows.

Non-sterile; prepare and handle under aseptic conditions if sterility is required.

  • 200mM Tris-HCl
  • 1.38M Sodium Chloride
  • 1.0% Tween-20

  • Western Blotting: Wash buffer and antibody diluent for membranes to reduce nonspecific binding.

  • ELISA: Plate washing and antibody incubation to minimize background.

  • Immunohistochemistry (IHC) / Immunocytochemistry (ICC): Washing and antibody incubation without disrupting epitopes.

  • Immunofluorescence Microscopy: Gentle detergent wash and antibody diluent to preserve signal-to-noise.

  • Blocking Buffer Preparation: Diluent for BSA or milk blockers used prior to antibody steps.

  • Dot/Slot Blots: Membrane washing and antibody handling to reduce background.

  • In Situ Hybridization (ISH): Detergent-containing washes to lower nonspecific probe binding.

  • Antibody Storage/Dilution: Vehicle for short-term antibody dilution to maintain stability and consistency.

  • pH: 7.60 ± 0.04
