dT Low Salt Wash Buffer, DNase/Endotoxin/Protease/RNase Tested, is a low ionic strength Tris-EDTA–based wash buffer for use in oligo(dT)-mediated mRNA capture and related nucleic acid purification workflows.

Each lot is tested for DNase, RNase, and protease activity and for endotoxin level. Suitable for washing steps in dT-based capture protocols and other applications requiring reduced ionic strength prior to elution.

  • 0.1M Sodium Chloride
  • 10mM Tris-HCl
  • 1mM EDTA
  • Nucleic Acid Column Wash: Removes salts, proteins, and contaminants during DNA/RNA spin column workflows while preserving nucleic acids under low-salt conditions.

  • Plasmid Miniprep Wash: Cleans plasmid DNA from Escherichia coli lysates, reducing carryover of proteins, endotoxin, and enzymes prior to elution.

  • Magnetic Bead Cleanup: Washes DNA/RNA bound to silica or carboxylated magnetic beads to improve purity and downstream performance.

  • Low-Stringency Hybridization Wash: Performs initial washes in nucleic acid hybridization assays where reduced ionic strength is required to remove nonspecific binders.

  • Affinity Capture Wash (DNA/RNA–Protein): Minimizes nonspecific interactions during pull-downs of nucleic acid–binding proteins and ribonucleoprotein complexes.

  • qPCR/NGS Library Prep Cleanup: Pre-elution wash step to decrease inhibitors and residual nucleases for sensitive amplification and sequencing workflows.

  • Endotoxin-Reduced Prep Workflows: Supports plasmid and genomic DNA purification intended for endotoxin-sensitive applications, including transfection.

  • General Enzyme Removal: EDTA chelation and low-salt conditions help reduce carryover of DNases/RNases and metal-dependent enzymes from crude samples.
