1X RPMI-1640 Media without Tryptophan is a mammalian cell culture medium based on the RPMI-1640 formulation with tryptophan omitted.

The absence of tryptophan enables control of exogenous amino acid supply for auxotrophic selection, isotope labeling, and depletion/repletion studies.

Use with appropriate supplements such as serum, L-glutamine, and antibiotics as required by the cell type, and maintain under CO2 conditions compatible with bicarbonate-buffered media.

  • Mammalian Cell Culture (Tryptophan-Free): Supports growth, maintenance, and adaptation of lymphocytes, hybridomas, and tumor cell lines under defined tryptophan-free conditions.
