1 M Magnesium Chloride Solution provides a concentrated source of Mg2+ for biochemical and molecular biology workflows that require controlled magnesium ion levels.

Common applications include adjustment of magnesium concentration in PCR and RT reactions, modulation of restriction endonuclease and DNA ligase buffer systems, and supplementation of bacterial media such as SOB/SOC used for the recovery of transformed E. coli.

Suitable for dilution to typical working concentrations (e.g., millimolar range). Store at 2–8 °C; mix thoroughly before use to ensure homogeneity.
