100 mM ATP, pH 7.5 is a ready-to-use aqueous solution of adenosine 5′-triphosphate adjusted to pH 7.5. The defined concentration and pH facilitate preparation of reaction mixtures and dilutions for biochemical applications requiring ATP as a phosphate donor or energy source.

This solution is suitable for workflows such as kinase reactions, ATPase activity measurements, phosphorylation studies, ligation systems requiring ATP, and preparation of calibration standards for analytical methods.

  • 100mM ATP Solution
  • Protein Kinase Reactions: Serves as the phosphate donor in phosphorylation assays for serine/threonine and tyrosine kinases.

  • ATPase Activity Assays: Substrate for enzymes that hydrolyze ATP, including helicases, motor proteins, and chaperones.

  • DNA Ligation: Required cofactor for T4 DNA ligase in cloning and adapter ligation workflows.

  • Polynucleotide Kinase Labeling: Provides ATP for T4 PNK to phosphorylate 5' ends or transfer radiolabel from γ-ATP.

  • Luciferase Bioluminescence Assays: Substrate/standard for firefly luciferase-based ATP quantification and cell viability readouts.

  • In Vitro Transcription/Translation: Energy source in cell-free expression systems with ATP regeneration mixes.

  • Molecular Motor Studies: Powers myosin, kinesin, and dynein motility assays and actin-myosin contractility tests.

  • Chaperone and Proteasome Assays: Supports Hsp70/Hsp90 cycling and 26S proteasome-dependent protein degradation.

  • ABC Transporter Experiments: Drives ATP-dependent substrate transport in reconstituted membrane systems.

  • Complex Dissociation/Elution: Used to release ATP-dependent chaperone-bound proteins during immunoprecipitation workflows.

  • pH: 7.5 ± 0.04
