ATP Solution, pH 7.5 is an aqueous nucleotide triphosphate preparation for use as a substrate in kinase reactions, phosphorylation assays, DNA/RNA ligation workflows, in vitro transcription, and ATP-dependent enzyme assays (including ligases, kinases, helicases, chaperones, and luciferase-based systems). It is suitable for biochemical and cell-free applications involving enzymes from organisms such as E. coli and yeast.

Store frozen and thaw immediately before use. Mix gently to ensure homogeneity and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.

  • 100mM ATP Solution
  • DNA Ligation: 100mM ATP Solution supplies the ATP cofactor for T4 DNA ligase in cloning and fragment joining.

  • RNA Ligation: Provides ATP for T4 RNA ligases in adaptor ligation and small RNA library prep.

  • Kinase Reactions: Serves as phosphate donor for protein kinases and casein/peptide phosphorylation assays.

  • Polynucleotide Kinase Labeling: Provides ATP for T4 PNK to 5′-phosphorylate or radiolabel DNA/RNA ends.

  • In Vitro Transcription: Used as the ATP nucleotide substrate for T7/T3/SP6 RNA polymerases.

  • Luciferase ATP Assays: Used as a standard or spike-in control for bioluminescent ATP quantitation and cell viability assays.

  • ATPase/Helicase Assays: Substrate for ATP-dependent helicases and AAA+ ATPases in nucleic acid remodeling studies.

  • Motor Protein Assays: Fuels myosin, kinesin, and dynein motility assays in cytoskeletal studies.

  • Chaperone Activity: Supports Hsp70/Hsp90 ATP-dependent protein folding and refolding assays.

  • ATP-Dependent Proteases: Provides ATP for ClpXP/Lon protease activity from Escherichia coli in proteolysis assays.

  • pH: 7.50 ± 0.04
