MOPS EZ Rich Defined Medium Kit is a MOPS-buffered, phosphate-balanced defined medium with glucose as the primary carbon source for the cultivation of E. coli and other bacteria in chemically defined conditions. The formulation provides a reproducible nutrient environment, supplying amino acids, nucleotides, vitamins, and essential salts in a defined background suitable for growth, maintenance, and protocol-standardized experiments.

The kit includes concentrated components to prepare a 1X working medium by dilution with sterile water according to the package instructions. It is intended for liquid culture workflows where controlled composition and MOPS-based buffering are required, and can be used with user-specified additives (e.g., trace elements or antibiotics) as dictated by experimental protocols.
