10% Tween-20 Solution is an aqueous preparation of polysorbate 20 at 10% (v/v), sterile-filtered (0.22 µm) and ready to use as a nonionic surfactant in laboratory workflows. It is used to prepare wash buffers for ELISA and Western blotting, to minimize nonspecific interactions in immunodetection procedures, to aid permeabilization in immunocytochemistry, and to gently solubilize membrane-associated components in biochemical assays.

GMP manufactured. Mix before use to ensure homogeneity. Store at 2–8 °C; do not freeze.

  • 10% Tween-20

  • Western Blotting and ELISA: Used in PBS-T/TBS-T wash buffers and blocking solutions to reduce nonspecific binding and background.

  • Flow Cytometry and Cell Washing: Minimizes cell clumping and nonspecific interactions during staining and wash steps.

  • Diagnostic Assays: Included in wash/running buffers for plate-based and lateral flow assays to improve signal-to-noise.

  • Microbiology Workflows: Helps disperse cellular aggregates and reduces adherence to surfaces during culture handling and plating.
