Soy hydrolysate (soytone)-based LB (Miller formulation) Agar is a rich medium for cultivation of E. coli. Animal component-free (ACF) LB Broth provides greater lot-to-lot consistency. Use for applications where the use of animal products presents a safety hazard and a source of unwanted contamination.
